Afternoon All,

We have a photographer who works for a model agency.

We have given this model agency a £5,000 advance which they are going to use to source and purchase furniture which we will keep. Their company are not claiming any output VAT on the amounts.

Are we able to claim the VAT back on these purchases if they provide us with the receipts?

Many Thanks,

Hi

If it is a proper vat receipt and you are vat registered and if the invoice is addressed to your company in its correct name and address.
Then you can do so if it meets all these conditions.
