UK Vat registration out of scope services

Hi everyone,

Could you advice, if company is registred in uk, working as an agent between customers and suppliers. All the clients are based in china or ukrain, co not have uk clients. Turnover about 1 mlj. Do the company need to be VAT registered?

Hi!

Can tell you from Ukrainian perspective that it is obligatory to register here (for Ukrainian companies) as VAT payer if revenue for previous 12 exceeded 1 mln UAH (about 37 thousand USD)
