Hi, I just incorporated a new company in the US. My first customer asked me to send him the w-9 form. the thing is that I am a non resident alien and in the section "2. Certification" it is required to be signed as a US person, this meaning, that I cannot do it because I am a NRA. Is it Ok to just put the corporation name in the signature line? or shoud I sign it specifying that I am a NRA? whar is the procedure. It seems that this case is not defined as part of the standard procedures that the IRS describe.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If the W9 form is for your company, then your company name goes in line 1, per the form.
The certification line 3 asks if the entity in line 1 is a US citizen or PERSON.
The form instructions define a US person as -among other things - a corporation organized in the US.
