I am wondering if my W2 is correct. I put ALL of my wages into my Employers 403b program in 2012 so my Wages in Box 1 is 0.00. But my full wages are in Boxes 3 and 5 with Soc and Med taken out. The remaining balance after these were taken out is shown in box 12a going toward my 403b. Seems like I would have to count the amount paid for my soc and med as wages in box 1. I also have the issue that I can't file online with TaxSlayer because I have a W2 without wages in Box 1. I am not sure if I should take this W2 back to the employer to correct or if it's correct as is. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

403b contributions do reduce box 1 but not box 3 or 5. Also they do not affect the soc sec tax or the medicare tax so that is why those were deducted. So w2 correct as is. You have no box 1 income.
