Do MBA that's the next step and the best option. MBA in finance will be the best option.

a combination CPA/MBA is probably a good idea as well. getting a CPA will help land the initial job, and the MBA will be useful as you grow in your career.

There are a ton of courses you can pursue in the accounting field that you can pursue to become an. The important ones are those which give you recognition and increased scope Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA US), ICWAI, etc.

Among these courses, CPA US and CA are the dominant ones due to their everlasting scope in the accounting arena. Particularly, the CPA designation is considered to be a black-belt in accounting due to international recognition and the fact that it is provided by one of the 55 State Boards of Accountancy in the US.
