I mean why do we talk about "non-cash" working capital? What would "cash" working capital be?

I've never heard of working capital being described as cash or non cash. Working capital includes bank balances ie cash. Maybe it's a new thing to refer to 'non cash' working capital, but I've never heard of it described as such.

We agree with @Fidget, NCWC included receivables + inventory (but never it described it as cash or non-cash).

Maybe, if it's cash working capital, it entirely involves cash only before starting an enterprise or business.

What do you think?

All Current Assets excluding Cash/Bank Balances can be called Non-Cash Working Capital as there are not immediately available for use in Cash but can be converted in Cash in a very quick time.
