i want to invest £50 a month in the top 100 companies on the stock exchange.
i want to have it come out of my bank by direct debit every month.

does this product have a name? where do i get one? I am weary of financial
advisors as I have always thought they sell you the product with the most
profit.

i am not a troll - I know there probably financial advisors here. dont rise
to it its just a (mis?)conception i have always had.

is there an online ifa? i know what I want and I would rather not have to
face a pushy guy in an armani suit.

You want an FTSE100 tracker fund .. there are several. Legal & General
have one with fairly low charges, sold as a unit trust (well, modern
equivalent, probably). I'd personally go for a managed fund, which
invests across a wider spectrum than just the top100 companies, but hey,
it's your investment not mine.

You might as well invest it through something like the Hargreaves
Landsdown Vantage funds account, which will actually accept an amount
that small (I am amazed):

There are plenty of on-line companies that you can invest in most financial
products through. I've used www.iii.co.uk in the past and it was fine.
