Where to complete certifications?

Hello,

I am currently undertaking a Accounting and Finance degree in London. My goal would be to complete university here and then become an accountant by doing the various work experience and certifications needed.

Now my question is this:

Since I have dual citizenship in Europe and in the USA I would like to be able to be an accountant in the USA too. So would it be better to do all certifications in the USA or in the UK because anyway its easy to get a sort of "translation" degree in the USA once I have all Accountant certifications?

I hope this is enough information for you guys to give me a helping hand!
