USA Where to find the # of shares a public company issued in a quarter?

Hi guys -

Pretty simple question but where can I find the # of shares a company issued during a quarter? I'm looking for the # of shares, not the $ amount. Is this on one of the financial statements or in the notes?

Usually on the statement of changes in stockholders equity. You will find that after the income statement (or comprehensive income statement if they use that). To qet the data for each qtr, you will have to do this for each qtr end.
