Worthless discussion "forum"

Steve

I find this Microsoft Discussion format worthless. Posts aren't categorized
and new replies don't rise to the top. Questions go unanswered because I
belive many other people have the same opinion of this format.

Does anyone know of a better forum for accounting using REAL forum software
to manage the posts and users??????

Since you are using the web interface, which is 'quirky' you will find
difficulties.
Much better to use a dedicated newsreader, Outlook Express or Windows Mail,
being such & suppplied with your win installation

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I will try it.

However, this additionally emphasizes my point about this very poor format.
Looking at the paucity of posts here and the anticipated size of the user
base, it looks like this discussion area is hardly meeting the needs of the
masses. We have all seen other forums for other lesser-used software
exploding with user contributions.

It should be embarrasing to MS. Just my singular opinion.

Steve,

I have to agree with DL that you will find it a whole lot easier to follow a
discussion using OE or Windows Mail as you can flag and watch them
specifically.

As far as the value of these forums; this is my first time in the SBA forum
but I will tell you that other groups such as SBS, Exchange, Windows Server
have been invaluable to me over the years. There are people out there
monitoring them all the time who really know what they are doing.

It may also be the case, that many questions relate to accounting
procedures, which are best posed to qualified person

I appreciate the replies. I don't have Vista so I am going to relocate
Outlook Express and try that method. Maybe my attitude will change. Thanks

Steve, Windows Live Mail works well for reading newsgroups and is better
than Outlook Express on Vista. For what it's worth the product team and
support team mainly read these newsgroups.

Kollen, The timeliness of your response does not reflect well on the
product and support teams reading. But it is a response which I
appreciate.
