Hi,
I have a BBA Accounting degree (no certification) with 4 years of public accounting firm and 4 years of non profit organization background. Currently I am part of the month/quarter end close, annual audit and tax for a 40 million dollar non profit organization. I am looking to change my career path to gain more client interaction and various nonprofit organizational structure. Would this transition from internal senior to outsourced senior benefit me professionally? For those of you who are already working in the outsourced accounting, please share your thoughts. My goal is to some day become a controller of a nonprofit organization.
