USA life insurance in property settlement

am divorced, and going through property settlement, When wife and I retired we took out a $200,000 life insurance policy in case I died before her,I am 11 years older than she, Since the policy was bought with community property money will my 2 children receive half of that 200,000 if I die before her, We live in state of La.

It will be paid to the beneficiary listed on the policy (which is likely her). If this is NOT what was intended as part of teh divorce settlement you need to change the beneficiary ASAP on the policy.
