My girlfriend is a Canadian citizen working as a nurse in Michigan under a
TN work visa. Her job started August of 2010. From January to May 2010 she
was a full-time student under an F1 visa and had a tax treaty while working
at college in the US. She lived in Ontario from May-August and had Canadian
income during that time.

Does she report the money she made with the tax treaty as well as her summer
income on her Canadian tax return, and then report the income she had under
the TN visa on American returns?

Does she have to record her US income from January - May on her US return?

Should she have / (should she) reported her income from her other years at
college (she received a 1042-s each year but never made above $3,000)

Any other tax implications to be aware of / consider?

Thanks for the help!
