Company A original owned 1 share of Company B which are equivalent to 100% of the issued share of Company B . now company C wants to acquire 20% of interests in company B. B therefore increased the authorised capital to 10, then 2 will be allocated to company C.Company C has paid $2 but the allotment was not done because C refused to sign the shareholder's agreement . So finally all the 10 shares will be allocated to Company A. Legally Company A owns 100% of Company B . But A will enter into a Trust Deed with C., saying that C actually owns 20% interests of B. What are the accounting entries for above ? What % to be used for consolidation ?
