USA ASC 606 impacts on percentage of completion

Our company has been using the percentage of completion for so many years till this year, the auditor state that there will be some changes because of ASC 606, which was effective in January 2020. I just do not know how this code will impact our current financials and revenue recognization, be more specific, how this will impact on the percentage of completion method?
