UK Company gone into liquidation

Just started a new job lot of intercompany transactions.This is in regards to few of our companies that have gone into liquidation but we still have to file the accounts. The problem is the intercompany balances on the accounts are such a mess and do not know the history of these transactions. How can I reconcile these transactions as the auditors want them done?
