UK Debiting Accounts

I am an AAT level 3 student and am doing distant learning.

I am going through some Capital expenditures and am not sure where building an extension to a warehouse should be debited to, would there be a general building account or would it need to be more specific, ie its own account extension account?

any help would be great

It's entirely up to you. The key here is to just record such as a fixed asset. I would probably record it as building or building improvement.
