Depreciating video content???

The company I work for has created an iPhone app that allows one to watch short instructional videos. Each video cost the company about $3k to make - production, filming, paying actors, hair and makeup, etc.

Right now, they are expensing these costs.

I believe they should be capitalized...agree? and if so, what would their useful life be?
