Hi I recently became a CPA in TN. The state already hit me up for a professional privilege tax of $400. Now the TSCPA state society wants $310. Do I have to be a member there?
It is not a requirement. It is just a professional organization that advances the CPA profession in TN. So visit their website and see if it is worth it.
