I have this question concerning this DJ business(sole proprietorship)

HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION:

This sole proprietor ordinarily lives in Town A but has to travel to Town B weekly to take charge of business(play at parties and other such functions) and when in Town B for business he stays in a hostel.

Can we classify the Rent Expense-Hostel Accommodation as a business expense?

How would that be treated in your jurisdiction?

For U.S. Federal Taxes: You can usually deduct ho(s)tel accommodation as a business expense, as long as you're traveling for business and you are far away enough from home to where it would be unreasonable for you to be able to complete the round trip without sleeping.
