HSA TIMING question: retroactive?

I started an HSA account in 2010 even though in prior years I had the kind of high deductible health insurance which qualified for an HSA. I'm embarrassed to say I simply did not get around to it .

Can I get reimbursed from my HSA, which I set up in 2010, and contributed to in 2010, for medical expenses I incurred and paid in 2009 given the above situation?
