Integrating Wash Sales Into Average Cost Method for Mutual Fund Redemptions

I have a spreadsheet that I use to record mutual fund activity & can be used to determine average cost basis for redemptions ; I'd like to modify it to take into consideration wash sales when determining the average cost basis ; does anyone know how this would be done , preferably with a numerical example ?
