Hi,
I have a question about Michigan tax form MI-2210.
I earned my income unevenly throughout the year.
Earning over 90 percent of my income in the last two days of the year.
The treasury of the state of Michigan is trying to charge me penalties and interest
because they are taking my income and are dividing it into four quarters and
stating that I did not pay timely est. payments.
So, I am trying to fill out form MI-2210 to
prove that I do not owe them anything.
On line 12 on page one it states:
Enter amount, if any, from line 18 of the previous column.
OK, well you are on line 12 of the first page and there is no previous column 18. Also the
four columns are marked A-B-C-D.
So, what do the instructions say for line 12. Oh there are no instructions for line 12.
So, what does the treasury dept. of Mi tell you when you called. Oh well, with there new
phone system you NEVER get to talk to a real person.
Also, as you read through the form this type of illogical information requests are repeated.
Thanks to anyone who has any information on how to fill out this form.

OK,
I just got back from H & R block. They informed me that they could not
fill out the form. Nice! They told me to send the form in partly filled out with
a letter.
So that is what I am going to do.
