Model specification

Pls I'm new here .. Some one should explain to me what "model specification " is all about. As it relate to research work

I suppose it depends upon what it is that you're trying to develop a model for. It's impossible to consider all variables that could potentially go into a model - too many taking up too much time for which there's a cost, so the specification is really just the detail of those that you've decided to include, along with any limitations of them and narrative on prominent variables that have been excluded.

It's basically the best you can come up with given the resources that you have to work with.
