I hired a babysitter to watch my daughter's children every Monday and Thursday, as a gift to her just to give her some time to herself. I pay this woman $200 a week and she goes to my daughter's house to babysit. I just started hearing about nanny taxes and I'm confused on what my requirements are as far as paying or withholding taxes. Also, does my daughter have any requirements/obligations for these taxes since it is her house (even though I am the one who pays her)?
