Trying to figure out how much in taxes should be pulled from each of my commission checks. I'm an independent contractor, married with an employed spouse if that matter. I know the FICA taxes are double 2.9 for medicare and 12.4 for S.S. I wanted to confirm the fed and state percentages. I don't think ill break 40k this year but in this field of work its possible
