My restaurant client built a covered patio flush against the main building, pavers all the way up to the building and connected at roof line by some nailed down roof sheathing and probably some stabilizer plates.Would this qualify for section 179?

Another question for same property, what about an exterior bathroom, completely separated from the building, would this be considered QRP ? Taxpayer did a $57,000 build out for additional bathrooms. Technically food is not prepared or consumed there. From reading 168(3)(7) I am not sure if this could be considered an improvement to the main building as the overall facility.

Thanks for any thoughts/guidance at all.
