Sincerely seeking views from CPA firm's perspective on OSUFisher MAcc program's accreditation of "STEM program".
As an international student, a STEM program means 3 years' working permission without working VISA in the United States after graduation. However, the length of OSUFisher MAcc program is less than a year, meaning international students are not allowed to do an internship in the United States during the program.
What would a CPA firm recruiter value more facing an international student: eligibility to work for the firm for 3 years without sponsorship from the firm, or a previous related internship done in the U.S.?
Thanks and really appreciate your valuable and constructive view!
