I'm planning on writing a paper about the effects of SFAS 131, and I've formulated the following research question.
what are the real effects of firms’ decision to stop providing geographic earnings information under sfas 131? (e.g. media, stock market, business, internal decision making)
However, I have problems with the set-up of the paper and formulating relevant sub questions that helps me answering the research question. Obviously the first one would be what's included in SFAS 131, but I can't think of any decent follow-up questions.
Any suggestions?
