My boss wants to think of ways to save tax. He thinks I can find more ways than the cpa that audits the company. Any suggestions where to begin?

Ask him for a huge bonus. That will decrease taxable income and so decrease income tax.


Somehow I do not think this is what he had in mind.......

Anyway, he should know whether if that is or is not in your skillset.
So to ask you to magically whip up some amazing tax strategies is unfair to you.
Why doesn't he just ask you to develop a brand new product line guaranteed to be profitable?
In other words he is being nuts and you need to recognize that and see how best to put this issue back to the CPA and not you in the most courteous way possible.
