Client invested 25k in 2008. He received about 12k in dividends up to May 2011. The investor stopped paying and calls to their office went unanswered, the office was boarded up and the two crooks left the country. I want to take the full loss on their tax return on Sch D for 2011, since he will never see any money again. Please confrim, thank you
