Central sales tax paid on inputs that the assessee may use for sale,use in The manufacturing or processing or for export.input includes materials , plant n machinery,equipments and any other tool used for manufacturing. one can claim input tax paid by him and get some relaxation on output tax. the cst paid on inputs is refunded in the form of input tax credit and is deducted from the output tax payable to get the final tax liability.
