Hi,
I live in NJ and work in Philly. This year my employer philly withheld $3500 worth of taxes and on top of that i had to pay NJ state another $3500. After some digging around and asking questions at work, it turns out my tax accountant made a mistake. On my NJ state tax line I need to fill out Schedule A and list the credit in line 40 on the NJ state return.

My question, since my accountant already filed my state taxes, how do I "re-file"? Should I just send the one's already complete with line 40 filled out? Is that called an amendment to the filing?
Thanks in advance
