We incurred legal expenses related to a patent. These need to be capitalized. The fees were incurred in 2023 but not invoiced until 2024. Normally, I would accrue for these fees, but being that they are capitalized costs it appropriate to accrue? Do you really have an asset at this point? US GAAP?
