USA Question about NYS sales tax

When filing my sale tax on New York State website. For gross sale number seen here https://www.screencast.com/t/pahhEo4Q449 do I enter this number https://www.screencast.com/t/umbqg9Bj92 or this number https://www.screencast.com/t/rcAXtT1GZI4

I do not see a section on the NYS website to enter returns. So I ended up with this https://www.screencast.com/t/4DI9MMWHq4Oe

I'm worried that maybe I should have entered the gross sales AFTER returns (140k) from my sales tax. This way they dont wonder about the difference?

Sadly, NY state tax is not my specialty.

You are correct. You were to report sales AFTER returns. The form is simple in that they ask for sales and non taxable. Then the difference is taxable sales. So file an amended return
