USA Quickbooks voiding invoices that have payments applied

I need to void an invoice that has payments applied and a remaining balance. The remaining balance was paid by another client who took over the project and I created an invoice for the remaining balance for the 2nd client, which has been paid. What is the best route to take care of this invoice that is still open yet was paid by another invoice?
