quicken essentials for mac question

I had to give up my old version of Quicken because I went to a new IMac. My data transferred, but I don't see a place to enter check numbers when I put new information in, and although the amounts related to check payments transferred, the check numbers didn't transfer.

How do I enter check numbers associated with new entries?

Figured it out

I notice lots of views, but very little response on this forum. Probably a good thing, because it forced me to find my own answer. Option-click on any column, and up pops a list of columns that you can add or delete as you wish.
