My income is deducted at source by my employer and I had filed my returns through Turbotax for 2015.
Now I have received a letter titled "Notice of Intent to Offset Federal Government Payments" from Dept. of Revenue and it is stated that I owe a balance of $1449 + penalities. I am baffled. I have paid my taxes correctly but this letter with such a huge amount has upset me. Whom should i contact about this?
I reached out to my employer and Turbotax, both couldnt help me.
