Dear All,

I would like some feedback from individuals who are familiar with, or currently working or studying the IFRS/IAS standards. I am busy working on a thesis and my topic is IAS 36 – IMPAIRMENT OF ASSETS

Some of the points that need to be covered on this standard:

• Has there been positive critique (perceived strengths) concerning this standard?
• Has there been negative critique (perceived weaknesses) concerning this standard?
• Practical evidence supporting this. So, real life situations, articles, company websites etc.

I would really appreciate feedback.

Also, if anyone could refer me to any websites that could assist me in my research that would be great, send me the link.
