If an S corp closes up shop, are they still liable for sales tax unpaid?

Or is the S corp LLC defunct and thus not liable from creditors/sales tax?

If you merely "close up shop" and stop the business , then you are still liable for unpaid sales tax.
And
Even if you file bankruptcy, in general you are still liable for unpaid sales tax. But in that event, you would have a lawyer to guide you on the specifics.
