USA New York sales tax on IT services delivered to a foreign customer outside the US?

Hi Accountant Forums Community,

If my business provides IT services over the internet to a business outside of the US, do I charge any tax?

According to my research, New York has a destination-based sales tax (not origin-based) and therefore I am assuming that I would charge the foreign company the net amount without any tax.

Is that correct?

Update: There shouldn't be sales tax on these services in general: https://www.tax.ny.gov/bus/st/subject.htm
