Transitioning from Internal Audit to M&A Role but no Direct M&A Experience

Hi all

I have over 11 years experience in External Audit with a Big 4 and the last 4 years experience in Internal Audit with an MNC.

I had been asked to attend an interview for an internal M&A Role at an MNC.

I do not have direct M&A Experience - what are some of the Technical Expertise and Skills I can speak about, from my years in External and Internal Audit, that the M&A Role will find useful during the Interview to support myself to secure this M&A Role?
