Use of Helpdesk for administration workflow

Hi all,

I am an administration team leader for an accounting firm of approximately 55 staff. We are currently using a helpdesk system (Service Desk Plus) for the accountants to send work through to the administration team. We are then able to give due dates and times and use reporting on job in/completed and any SLA breaches.

I'm curious what other firms use for their workflow?
