My first post here, having some trouble with share warrants and can't find the double entry anywhere online.
People in the firm have been granted warrants, allowing them to buy X amount of shares at £X at any point in the next 10 years. I've used X as the amounts differ by person. They were granted them at year end.
Also a couple of them are contractors who receive warrants as part of their payment for work.
Not sure of the initial accounting treatment and then if there's any subsequent revaluation etc to put through the accounts.
Any help be much appreciated.
