USA 1099 requirements for a trust that's owned by a Roth IRA

We have some income from mineral rights that the vendor wants to send a 1099 for. Our entity that is receiving the income is a trust that'a owned by a Roth IRA (non taxable).
How can I convince the vendor to NOT SEND A 1099? We have other vendors in the exact same situation that do not issue 1099s.

You probably can't. But just because they send it doesn't mean you have to do anything with it.

Yes, you can. All they're doing is reporting to the IRS that they paid you. If you're not required to report the income, you don't have to.
