I have a question in respective to accounting principles and GAAP.
Can anybody please tell me what is the major difference between an accounting principles and GAAP.
Also I would like to know indetail topics on GAAP, accounting principles and IFRS...

Thank you for the link, may I also please get to know the countries which are under GAAP other than US and the countries which are not, if not GAAP what is the framework used by them...
