Good Morning All,

Hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend.

I am this morning looking into P11D's and BIK. I am looking on the GOV website but I am a little unsure of what path to take.

For our employees, most of them anyway, we cover the cost to park in a multi-storey car park a few roads down from our offices.

do this constitute as a BIK and will need to be declared on P11D returns, or not? The GOV website states "for business use" but this is not business travelling, it is simply from home to work (or am I missing a point here).

Any help & advice will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
JK

If the parking spaces are within walking distance of the office and paid for by the employer, then there's nothing to report to HMRC on account of the cost.
