UK Help with postings - gift on personal credit card

can someone help me with regards to posting on the sage accounting system?

A partner of the firm has purchased a gift on his personal credit card. He's claiming it as an expense on the company and I think I will need to make one posting to his drawing account.
Am I correct?


Can someone tell me the additional postings I need to make?

As he used his personal credit card, then you should treat it as a reimbursement of expenses rather than put it through his drawings account.
