Hello

Would anyone be kind enough to comment on the following scenario please?

A UK Citizen, living in the UK, with an individual Amazon.com online business selling exclusively in the US market. Profits will be paid into a USD denominated bank account in the USA.

Should an LLC be set up in the USA or a Ltd Co in the UK?

Hi Drmdcpa
Thanks for responding to my question! May I ask if you could elaborate a little more, please?

It is quite complex.

I am not familiar with UK laws and practices. But from my experience with other international activities, there are usually two companies that deal with each other rather than individuals.

There are a lot of costs associated with setting up a US business especially if it has activity in many different states. The states are comparable to having to deal with yet another country. But this would be easier and more formal with an entity as opposed to a sole proprietorship.
