USA LLC Vehicle Transfer

I own a single member managed LLC. When I bought the company vehicle I had not funded the company checking account yet. So I bought it through my personal checking account, however went ahead and registered it in the company name. How do I make that accounting entry?

Why not just set up a payable to you from teh LLC and record the asset on the LLC?
